These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and your purchase of any digital products from J Sewell Beats ("we", "our", "us"), a business based in the United Kingdom. By browsing this website, placing an order or downloading any product, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Our store is operated using Shopify, which provides the ecommerce, cart, checkout and order processing infrastructure used to sell our products.

All products sold on this website are digital goods delivered electronically. No physical items are shipped. After a successful payment you will receive access to your download, typically instantly by email and via your order confirmation page.

You are responsible for providing a valid email address and for downloading your files promptly. Download links may expire after a reasonable period; if you cannot access your purchase, contact us at jordan@jsewellbeats.net and we will assist.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order.

Purchasing a product grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use that product in your own music productions, subject to our Digital Product Licence. Ownership is not transferred at any point.

Drum sounds, including one-shots and drum samples, are 100% royalty-free. Royalty terms for melody loops, melody layers and accents vary by product — always check the FAQ or licensing information on the individual product page before use. Where a product page sets out product-specific terms, those terms take precedence.

All products, artwork, audio content, text, branding and website content remain the exclusive intellectual property of J Sewell Beats or its licensors, and are protected by UK and international copyright law. Nothing in these Terms assigns any intellectual property rights to you.

Licences are issued to a single individual or single business entity. Your licence may not be shared with collaborators, team members, students or clients. Each user requires their own purchase.

You may not:

• Redistribute, share or upload any product in its original form.
• Resell any sample, loop, preset, MIDI file or other digital file.
• Upload our products to sample libraries, marketplaces, file-sharing services or torrent sites.
• Include our products within another sample pack, drum kit, preset bank or similar product.
• Use our products to train AI models, machine learning systems or similar technologies.
• Claim ownership or authorship of any original content contained within our products.

Breach of these restrictions terminates your licence immediately and may result in legal action.

Products, bundles and promotions are offered subject to availability and may be added, amended, withdrawn or discontinued at any time without notice. We may also correct listing errors, including inaccurate descriptions or specifications.

All prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and are set by us in Shopify. Any alternative currency shown while browsing is an approximate conversion for convenience only; the currency and amount confirmed at checkout is the amount charged.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Where an item is listed at an incorrect price due to an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid.

Payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments and other payment providers offered at checkout, such as PayPal. We do not receive or store your full card details. Your order is confirmed once payment has been authorised and the funds have cleared.

Fraudulent orders, chargebacks or payment disputes will result in immediate termination of your licence and removal of access to your purchase.

Due to the digital nature of our products, all purchases are final and non-refundable once delivered. Please read our Refund Policy before ordering.

Our products and this website are provided "as is" and "as available". While we take great care in producing and testing our sounds, we do not warrant that any product will meet your specific creative requirements, that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that files will be compatible with every digital audio workstation, plugin or operating system. Stated compatibility is provided in good faith as guidance.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer where those rights cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, J Sewell Beats shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss or damage, including loss of profit, revenue, data, projects or goodwill, arising from the purchase or use of any product or this website.

Our total aggregate liability in relation to any purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase, unless a change is required by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
