Digital Product Licence

This Digital Product Licence ("Licence") governs the purchase and use of all digital products sold by J Sewell Beats ("we", "our", "us"). By purchasing or downloading any product from this website, you agree to the terms below.

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased digital products in accordance with this Licence.

Ownership of all intellectual property remains with J Sewell Beats.

Drum sounds

All drum sounds, including one-shots and drum samples, are 100% royalty-free. You may use these sounds in commercial productions without owing royalties or requiring further permission.

Melody loops, melody layers & accents

Royalty terms for melody content vary between products. Please refer to the FAQ on the individual product page for the specific royalty terms relating to that product.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise on the relevant product page, melody loops and melody layers are not royalty-free and may require clearance for commercial use, major label releases or other uses specified in that product's licensing terms.

Unless otherwise stated on the individual product page, you may use purchased products to:

• Release music commercially.
• Upload music to streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.
• Monetise YouTube videos.
• Secure placements with artists.

However, for major label placements, you must refer to the royalty terms shown on the relevant product page. In most cases this will require:

• Contacting J Sewell Beats for clearance.
• Appropriate producer credit.
• Negotiation of producer splits where applicable.

You may not:

• Redistribute any product in its original form.
• Resell any sample, loop, preset or digital file.
• Upload our products to sample libraries or marketplaces.
• Include our products within another sample pack, drum kit, preset bank or similar product.
• Share purchased products with any third party.
• Use our products for AI model training, machine learning datasets or similar technologies.
• Claim ownership of any original content contained within our products.

All products sold by J Sewell Beats remain the exclusive intellectual property of J Sewell Beats.

Purchasing a product grants you a licence to use the content in accordance with this Licence. It does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights.

Certain products may include additional licensing, royalty or clearance requirements.

Where an individual product page or its accompanying FAQ contains product-specific licensing terms, those product-specific terms shall take precedence over this general Digital Product Licence in relation to that product.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the licensing information provided on each individual product page before purchasing and using any product.

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final and non-refundable.

If you experience any technical issues accessing your purchase, encounter download problems or have any concerns regarding your order, please contact us at jordan@jsewellbeats.net and we will do our best to resolve the issue promptly.

If a payment is refunded through a chargeback, payment dispute or fraudulent claim, your licence to use the purchased products will immediately terminate.

Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the products and permanently delete all copies in your possession.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, J Sewell Beats shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from the purchase or use of any product sold through this website.

Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant product.

We reserve the right to amend or update this Licence at any time.

The version of this Licence in effect at the time of your purchase will continue to apply to that purchase unless otherwise required by applicable law.
